The problem

Planning a good evening takes forty minutes and three browser tabs.

You find a show. Then you look for somewhere to eat near it. Then you work out whether you can actually get from one to the other in time, and what the whole thing is going to cost. Most of the time you give up and go to the same place you always go.

How it works

Three decisions, then a plan you can send.

01

Say what kind of night

Low-lit and slow. Make us laugh. Last minute. Cheap and good. One tap sets everything underneath, and shows you what it set.

02

Set your ceiling

One number for two people, dinner plus tickets. Every result fits inside it, with the real total on the card.

03

Send it to them

Every night has its own link. Tap send, it goes into a text message, and it opens as the plan — not as a homepage they have to figure out.

Why it's different

Somebody actually checked.

Every venue and table here was checked against its own website or a dated 2026 source. Places that closed this year were deliberately left out — even though a lot of them still show up on published date-night lists.

What it isn't

The parts we'd rather tell you than have you find out.

It's a snapshot, not a feed

Hours, prices and programmes were read on the build date shown at the bottom of the app and baked in. Nothing here knows what's on tonight. Follow the links before you go.

Some prices are estimates

Most venues route tickets through a third party per show, so no face value is published anywhere. Those cards say typically and link the calendar. Restaurant figures are dinner for two, food only, before tax and tip.

"Free" and "usually free" mean different things

Free means someone read it off the venue. Usually free means there's no ticket as far as we can tell, but nobody has confirmed there's no cover or drink minimum. Check that second one before you go.

Rooms close

About one in ten restaurants closes every year. We check, and we still won't catch all of it. If you find something wrong, tell us — that's most of what the beta is for.

Privacy

It doesn't know who you are, and never asks.

No accounts. No logins. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no third-party trackers of any kind. What you search for and which nights you look at stay in your own browser and are never sent anywhere — we couldn't see them if we wanted to. The only thing we ever hold is an email address, and only if you type one in below.
