Last updated 23 August 2026

We don't collect anything about you.

Curtain & Table runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking. The filters you set and the nights you look at are held in your own browser and are never sent to us — we cannot see them, and clearing your browser data erases them.

No analytics, no trackers

We use no analytics and no third-party trackers. No advertising pixels, no session recording, no cookies beyond what your browser needs to render the page. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts; nothing else is fetched from anywhere.

Links out

Restaurant and venue links take you to sites we don't control, which have their own privacy practices. We receive nothing back from them and cannot tell whether you clicked.

Email, if you gave us one

If you joined the beta list or left an address in the Night Out Study, we hold that address to email you about this project. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by replying to any message.

Survey answers

Survey responses are reported only in aggregate and are kept separate from email addresses.

The survey deliberately does not ask about age, gender, sexual orientation, relationship status, household composition, health, religion, race, or your precise location. None of it is needed to answer the question we're asking, and several of those are treated as sensitive data under Maryland law.

Changes

If we ever start collecting anything, this page changes first and the change is announced to the list before it takes effect.
